American Advertising Federation of Shreveport-Bossier (AAFSB) is hosting its annual design competition. On average, students from Tech submit 25 entries and claim 9 awards each year; that’s a 36% placement rate.

If you’ve taken, or are currently enrolled in, one of the following classes, you most likely have a competition-worthy entry:

• 363 Ad Campaign
• 413 Theory
• 415 Information Graphics
• 463 Portfolio I
• 464 Advanced Media
• 475 Portfolio II
• Screen Printing
• Advanced Software
• Photography 170+

Gary Hauser will be holding a FAQ/interest meeting this Thursday (18) @ 11:30AM in VAC119. He will discuss “entry categories, submission requirements, and talk about the awards banquet to be held early next year.”

Entry deadline is Friday, January 9th @ 3PM in Mr. Hauser’s hands.

36 Point is hosting a student design competition this fall. Nate Voss and Donovan Beery, co-authors/co-founders of Be A Design Group, created 36 Point earlier this year as a continuation and expansion of their podcast-based project at BADG.
